Implementation of AMR

Automatic system control and energy metering (AMR) is a tool that allows consumers to obtain a comprehensive picture of energy consumption and achieve a rational electricity consumption taking into account all individual characteristics of the consumer.

The main purpose of AMR system is to accurately measure the amount of consumed or transmitted energy and power taking into account daily, zone or other tariffs, ensuring the storage of these measurements during the month, year and access to these data for settlement with the supplier and consumer. In addition an important component of AMR is the ability to analyze the consumption (transmission) of energy and power. Regular analysis of consumption patterns over time periods allows to identify miscalculations in the organization of electricity supply.

The legislation of Ukraine imposes special requirements for consumers on the introduction and use of AMR systems. In particular, enterprises with installed capacity of power plants more than 750kVA are obliged to implement the AMR system. The same requirement applies to consumers who in order to reduce the cost of purchased electricity plan to work with electricity suppliers at unregulated tariff. The general structure of interaction between parties of the energy market of Ukraine is presented on the schemes.

Specialists of the Energy Company "Ukrenergoexport" have an unique experience in implementing of AMR systems on a "turnkey" from the different manufacturers on consumers' electricity networks which are operating in many sectors of the Ukrainian economics.
